Spain: Grain Production Decline to Test Supply Chain Logistics Resilience in Spain

Spain is facing a second consecutive year of poor grains crops. While northernmost grain producing areas still hold production potential, yields in the country’s southeast are estimated to have declined significantly.

China: China Extends Section 301 Tariff Exclusions

On May 30, 2023, the State Council Tariff Commission (SCTC) announced another extension to Section 301 retaliatory tariff exclusions on 12 agricultural products, including shrimp for cultivation, whey for feed, fishmeal for feed, alfalfa and seven hardwood products through December 31, 2023.
