Philippines: Adapting Philippine Agriculture to Climate Change

At least 1.25 million poor farmers and 5 million indirect beneficiaries will benefit from Adapting Philippine Agriculture to Climate Change (APA), a $39.3-million project approved to foster climate-resilient agriculture (CRA), and develop the Philippine agriculture sector. APA expects a reduction of 1.86 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (MtCO2e) over 20 years as a result of application of CRA practices and better land use. APA implementation starts this year and runs until 2030.
