Canada: Canada Proposes Maximum Residue Limits for Benzovindiflupyr and Teflubenzuron

Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) announced two consultations on proposed maximum reside limits (MRL) for Benzovindiflupyr and Teflubenzuron. The consultation will be open until May 3, 2023 for Teflubenzuron and May 7, 2023 for Benzovindiflupyr. As proposed, the MRL for Teflubenzuron would be lower than the current American tolerance for apples. The MRL for Benzovindiflupyr would be lower than the current American tolerance for ginseng roots.
